When beloved St. Philip Parish Pastor, Father Walt Dworak, retired during St. Philip School's Centennial year in 2015, the school established the Father Walt Compassion Scholarship Fund using a portion of funds raised during the Centennial celebration.
Just as Father Walt proved a compassionate Good Shepherd and Champion of our school for 16 years, so too does this fund show compassion for families in emergency need who wish to keep their children at the school.
The fund will assist with tuition expenses in times of job loss, reduction of hours or pay, or medical, legal or disaster-related emergencies.
As we enter our Second Century, we will continue to seek donations from alumni, current families and other St. Philip School supporters to replenish the Fund into future years.
