Special Congratulations to Katie Hoff who made it to the Finals round and took second place overall in Drama!!!!!

Place at Finals Round were as follows:

Poetry : Abby Gossic 1st & 2nd,  Ava Gaitens - 2-1st

Prose: Malley Aiello-1st & 2nd,  Rachel McDevitt-2-1st,

Drama : Lillianna Peterson- 1st & 2nd, Katie Hoff-2-1st, Amara Comans-2-1st, Kaleigh Costantino- 2-1st

Declamation: Mac Johnson-1st & 2nd

Multiple  Reading: Someone in the Mind Group-1st & 2nd

Congrats to Katie and Kaleigh who received perfect scores from one judge

Although we did not place at Finals, we have a tremendous year and are so proud of everyone of our students.Our measure of real success is not trophies and ribbbons but the growth and improvement show by each one of you. We are 1st place in that category!

We wish our 8th graders much success in High School we will miss you. You are among the finest speakers SPS has been proud to have on our team. We hope all of the present team members below 8th grade return.
