The Pennsylvania Department of Health mandates that all school students receive regular physical and dental examinations. The requirements are as follows:

• Physical Examinations- Kindergarten, grades 6 and 11, as well as new entrants
• Dental Examinations- Kindergarten, grades 3 and 7
