Snack:
*We will enjoy a variety of snacks. Your child will have one in the morning
and one in the afternoon.
*Please let me know in writing of any allergies your child may have so I can
plan accordingly.
*$1.50 per week/$60 per year for full day and $1.00 per week/$40 per year for
half day
*Please send cash only in an envelope marked snack money with your child's
name.
*If you would like to pay weekly please send payment in your child's red
folder on Mondays. If you would like to pay for the entire year please send
payment in your child's red folder on the first day of school.

Kindergarten School Uniform:
*GIRLS: - plaid jumper or navy pants, (In August, September, May and June Navy
walking shorts can be worn.)
- white shirt
- navy sweater or SPS green sweatshirt
- knee socks
- dress shoes
*BOYS: - navy pants (In August, September, May and June Navy walking shorts
can be worn.)
- white shirt
- navy sweater or SPS green sweatshirt
- dress shoes
GYM DAY: Kindergarten students may wear green or navy shorts with a white t-
shirt or SPS gym shirt. During the months of October-April the SPS sweat suit
can be worn or a navy sweat suit. Don't forget your tennis shoes. Students
may wear this all day!!
Gym uniform order forms will be sent home in September.

Red and Blue Folders:
*Red Folder: This will be our communication folder. It will come home
everyday with the work your child completed during the day and any notes.
Please empty your child's folder everyday and return any notes that need to
be given back to me. Also send any notes for the office in the red folder
(ex: absentee notes, dismissal notes, lunch money)
*Blue Folder: This will be your child's homework folder. Have your child
complete the homework. Send it back the next day in the blue folder.

*Watch KDKA - look for Pgh Public Schools - follow what Pgh Public Schools
say you will not see St. Philip School. This will let you know if school is
cancelled or delayed.
