• Please make sure to label all sweatshirts, zip-ups, sweaters, etc. Students tend to wear these things over their uniforms and take them off and on throughout the day. This tends to them getting left within the room and mixed up with other students. 

     

    • Gym Uniform: Students are able to wear their gym uniforms for the entire day. Students do not need to change for gym. Proper gym attire is green or navy bottoms and a white SPS or plain white t-shirt. Students can wear shorts during September, May, and June. Students  should wear proper shoes to participate in gym class. 

    • Girls' Uniform:
      -Grade 1-5: St. Philip Plaid Jumpers
      -Grade 6-8: St. Philip Plaid Skirts or Skorts
      -Skirts/skorts are to be worn to the knee
      -Slacks: Navy only. Belts must be worn at all times for pants with belt loops.
      -Blouses: White only blouses with a Peter Pan collar or Oxford-cloth Button Down; White Turtlenecks; or White Polo Shirts or knit shirts with collars.
      -Sweaters: Navy only vests, plain cardigans, v-neck or crew neck. SPS Sweatshirts may be worn with white uniform shirts.
      -Walking Shorts (to the knee): Navy Only. Shorts may be worn from May 1 - September 30.
      -Dark Dress Shoes; White or Navy KNEE SOCKS must be worn at all times with the uniform jumper or skirt. NO MONOGRAMS.
      -No tight clothing
      -Only 8th grade girls are permitted to wear make up. There is to be no excessive make up.
      -No excessive earrings (hoops or dangle earrings)
      -No Nail Polish or Added Nails
      -Hair must be clean and eyebrows must be visible.
      -No excessive haircuts or colors.

       
    • Boys' Uniform:
      -Trousers: Navy only. Straight legs, belts must be worn at all times for Pants with belt loops.
      -Dress Shirts: White only Collared Broadcloth or Oxford-cloth Button Down; White Turtlenecks; or White Polo Shirts or knit shirts with collars.
      -Walking Shorts (to the knee): Navy only. shorts may be worn from May 1 - September 30.
      -Sweaters: Navy only vests, plain cardigans, v-neck, or crew neck. SPS Sweatshirts may be worn with white uniform shirt.
      -Dark Dress Shoes; White or Navy CREW SOCKS must be worn at all times. SOCKS MUST COVER THE ANKLES, NO MONOGRAMS.
      -No excessive haircuts or colors - long hair, shaved heads, or pony tails. Eyebrows and Ears must be visible. Hair may not touch the collar.
      -Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.

       
    • Shoes:
      -Acceptable Shoes include: Hard Soles, Loafers, Oxford Style or Saddle Shoes. (Girls may wear heals that are no higher than 2 inches)
      -The Following Shoes can not be worn at SPS: Boots, Clogs, Flip-Flops, Backless Shoes, Ballerina Shoes

       

       

      Dress Down Days - On some days throughout the year, Sister Geri will allow for a dress down days. Often, these are referred to as a jeans day. Students are permitted to dress out of uniform on these days; however, they do still need to keep outfits school appropriate. Shirts should not have negative sayings on them against school, homework, others, etc. Pants can be jeans or gym style pants, but leggings are not permitted. Should girls choose to wear skirts or dresses, they should follow the same length rules they do for their jumpers. Shorts are only permitted in September and May and should be to the knee. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, sleeveless shirts are not permitted.Â
